Everyone deserves to feel confident, especially when going to a job interview or their first week at a new job. Which is why we are so proud to announce that we have partnered with Tailored For Success, Inc. (TFS) to host a professional clothing drive. Throughout the week of November 22-27, anyone who visits Brunswick Park's pop-up shop at 144 Newbury Street and donates gently used professional clothing will receive a $50 credit towards any Brunswick Park jacket.
Tailored For Success is a not for profit organization dedicated to assisting economically disadvantaged women, men and youth with resources to build their self-esteem and self-confidence. Since its inception in 2000, TFS has provided thousands of job seekers with free high quality business attire, interview coaching and conducted hundreds of personal and professional development workshops. TFS not only provides two suits for interviews and/or job fairs but also clothing for everyday – which is vitally important to individuals starting new jobs.
As part of Brunswick Park's mission to outfit the evolving workforce, it will be accepting all gently worn professional clothing, in exchange for a $50 credit towards its line of performance apparel.
Donations will be accepted all week at The Lodge @ 144 Newbury Street but a special event will be held Friday, November 25 to honor all donors with drinks and a DJ from 7-10 pm.
